The Automated Biz is a software tool that helps small businesses track sales, expenses, inventory, and supplier prices, and that generates informational reports. It is a bookkeeping and analytics aid — not an accountant, bookkeeper, tax preparer, financial advisor, or payroll provider.
All numbers, reports, profit-and-loss statements, market comparisons, and alerts the Service produces are for informational purposes only. They are not financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all data before relying on it, filing taxes, or making business decisions. Always consult a qualified professional (accountant, CPA, attorney) for advice specific to your business.
The Service uses automated and AI tools to read invoices, statements, and reports. These tools are not perfect and may misread or miscategorize information. The Service prompts you to review extracted data before saving it. You acknowledge that you are responsible for confirming the accuracy of any data you save or act upon.
"Price Guard" compares your reported prices and price changes against publicly available U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data and your own historical prices. These are reference benchmarks only and do not represent any specific supplier's fair, contract, or wholesale price. The Service does not accuse any supplier of wrongdoing; it presents factual comparisons for your own evaluation.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of data you enter or upload. You retain ownership of your business data. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to misuse the Service, upload unlawful content, attempt to breach security, or use it to violate any third party's rights. You will only upload data you have the right to use.
Paid plans, when offered, are billed on the terms shown at checkout. Free plans are provided as-is. We may change pricing with reasonable notice. (No charges are made unless you explicitly subscribe to a paid plan.)
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any result or report is accurate or complete.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AUTOMATED BIZ AND ITS OWNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you use a free plan).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Automated Biz and its owners from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. (Confirm your governing state with your attorney.)
